The HCPL-M611-500E is a small outline high CMR, high speed, logic gate optocoup-ler. It is a single channel device in a five lead miniature footprint. The device is electrically equivalent to the following Agilent optocoupler. The HCPL-M611-500E registered (MO-155) package outline does not require “through holes” in a PCB. This package occupies approximately one fourth the footprint area of the standard dual-in-line package. The lead profile is designed to be com-patible with standard surface mount processes. The applications of the include solated Line Receiver, Simplex/Multiplex Data Transmission, Computer-Peripheral Interface, Microprocessor System Interface, Digital Isolation for A/D, D/A Conversion, Switching Power Supply, Instrument Input/Output Isolation, Ground Loop Elimination, Pulse Transformer Replacement.
